About Our Hospital

PVSES was founded to provide high quality, specialized medical care to companion animal patients. Our practice is dedicated to serving the veterinary community as a partner in total patient care. We offer comprehensive specialized services including endoscopy, Doppler ultrasound, surgery, 24-hour ICU care, and emergency and critical care. Our staff is committed to providing compassionate and thorough medical care that meets the needs of the patient, client, and referring veterinarian.

PVSES recommends you establish a relationship with a local general practice veterinarian, as we do not provide primary care. Your veterinarian will refer you to PVSES when they are not available, or if they feel your pet may benefit from advanced diagnostics or 24-hour monitoring and intensive care.

Our services are performed by a coterie comprised of board certified veterinary specialists, experienced and talented emergency veterinarians, and a superb nursing staff. They are highly trained professionals who work together as a team to provide the best care possible for your pet.

Our specialty referral practice will see patients by appointment between the hours of 8am and 5pm; Monday through Friday. If your pet needs a specialist, or you would like a second opinion, please ask your regular veterinarian for a referral.

Our emergency service is available Monday through Thursday 6pm-8am and Friday 6pm through Monday 8am. The emergency service is also open on all holidays. Whether it's two in the morning or Christmas Day, when you need us, we'll be there.
